We are proud to present our first edition of the Feral Fiyah Mixtapes series. We kick things off with this exclusive mixtape by the hard hittin’ moombahton duo that goes by the name Sazon Booya. Consisting of Mr. Vega and DJ Sav, Sazon Booya first emerged on the moombahton scene earlier this year and took it by storm with their release of La Bomba EP. They sure know how to keep things caliente and get you bumpin’ n grindin’ on the dancefloor with their latin influenced productions. In the past months, Sazon Booya released dope edits as well as originals and remixes, killed it in clubs and even traveled to France with Skrillex and Munchi. It seems like things are only going to get bigger and better from here on as there’s a tour in the works and not to mention their new EP of which some originals can be heard in this mix. Sazon Booya has surely made it’s name in the scene and with this mixtape (which is filled with tons of exclusives) will probably make you hungry to hear more of what other tasty moombahton flavors this duo has to offer. I’ve been in blogging limbo for a week or two since I’m trying to do a million things at once but I’m back and got some fresh goods scheduled for this week. First off is this dope EP from the mayhem causing group aka SPF 5000. Released on Top Billin, P.O.T.S. is somewhat of a feel good tune that makes me think of hot girls going all hot fire on us. Our friends over at Cocobass released this new LOL Boys EP on monday and it’s already blowing up everywhere on the interwebs. While Cocobass is home to some of the most influential producers from Latin America, this might be their biggest release yet. LA based Jerome Potter and Montreal based Markus Garcia are the duo behind LOL Boys which in my opinion have been producing straight up fiyahs since I first heard of them a while back. Bubbles EP features some next level calypso, dutch house, bubblin’ and even a little moombahton blending which clearly shows the duo exploring new musical grounds. A month or two ago we posted the preview for Lola and now it’s finally here. Maluca’s new party banger was produced by dutch powerhouse The Partysquad who’s been hard at work bustin’ out some big jams lately. The crazy dominicana explained to The Fader that the song is “inspired by the call girls in the back of the Village Voice,” that are, “a part of society that’s been overlooked and brushed under the rug.” This tune has a kinda warm vibe to it but still makes you want to get up and dance with a sexy Lola on the dancefloor…grab it and have a listen to ging danga, or as i’d like to call it: ging bangaaaa. Shoutout to all the Lola’s out there.

I did the tourist thing and took a vacation to Curacao, a sister island in the Caribbean which is like a 15 minute flight from where i’m based. I ate a lot of coconuts, climbed palm trees and jumped from a 75+ feet cliff into the water pirata style.
