In the wake of a new decade comes the panic of sonic doom – have no fear – Monster Squad is here! Clobbering with slime from the streets of New York and climbing stealthily through the smog of LA, this bicoastal supergroup is building an arsenal of unstoppable sound!

Reimagined by DJ/Producer Code-D of The American Dream Team (TADT) alongside 3 MCs and lyrical slayers Whiskey Pete, Andre Parnell and Jae Stylus, Monster Squad is heavy collaboration of serious exoskeletal tech-tonic attitude. Genre bending of Raverap, Hip-hop, Electro, Mutant-house and a whole lota Bass, their sonic superpowers will punch pound for pound, ears, body and dome.

Can you keep up? This music movement “Monster Squad” is calling all earthlings, robots and zombies to test their seismic rhythms – watch out for head banging tracks like “Make Me Lose it” and “As The World Turns” while the squads power wreaks havoc on the Underground unleashing high voltage madness to your stereo.

Who came up with the name The American Dream Team?
America

Tell me some of the dj’s you’ve performed with?
Kill The Noise, Le Castle Vania, Computer Club, True Pseudo, Sidechains just to name a few

Who would you like to perform with in the future?
Would like to get on a bill with Deadmau5 or Craze one of these days

Who were your greatest influences musically?
Have tons like everything from Hendrix to Sabbath to Zinc to Treasure Fingers. Really loving Computer Club’s whole sound and engineering. That’s why I always bug him to give me feedback =P

When did you finally realize you wanted to be a Dj/Producer?
Well I been DJing since I was 14 but only been producing for about 3 or 4 years. The first party I went to when they use to have actual mixtape vendors in 97 or 98 is when I realized I wanted to start DJing.

Who affects you today musically?
Everyone

What CD is in your car stereo right now?
Funny you ask that because a good friend I grew up with just burned me a copy of the first mixtape I ever bought that was one of the main reasons why I started DJing. It’s a mix by DJ Venom called Return Of The Jungle Warrior.

How do you describe your music to people?
Really just bangin club music… every genre you can think of with a lot of electro and hip hop sounds

What is the most memorable live performance expierence?
NYE last year at the Famous Friends party. It was Dan & I with Kill The Noise, AC Slater, Udatchi & The FF crew. We were on the bill to do the ball drop.
Dan made this crazy Animation with a clock blowing up and a disco ball flying into the earth and that’s where I came up with the Drop It To The Floor Remix. It’s not an official remix I was just searching around for samples that had something to do with “Dropping” so I could go into it right after the ball drop. After I finished the track I was like shit this is pretty much a Machines Don’t Care Remix cus I used so much of the the keys and main sample from the original. But anyways the ball drop was nuts and people were bugging… best NYE so far.
