Now there have been a lot of up comers lately, but none have really caught my eye or should I say ears.  While listening to some of the latest to hit the blogosphere the other day I came across The American Dream Team and let me tell you these guys are hot, with their sound catering to every flavor.  So today I was fortunate to talk to them and get a little info and share them with you.

The term “American Dream” was first used by James Truslow Adams in his 1931 novel, “The Epic of America”. Truslow wrote of “that dream of a land in which life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone”, a land of “opportunity for each according to ability or achievement.” This was “not a dream of motor cars and high wages merely, but a dream of social order in which each man and each woman shall be able to attain to the fullest stature…’that’, of which they are innately capable…recognized by others for what they are, regardless of the fortuitous circumstances of birth or position.”

Since his prolific writing, the “American Dream” has evolved.  From tails of streets paved with gold, to the land of opportunity where all men are created equal.  But these stoic clichés are just another fading portrait of the once land of the free, another celluloid memory cast away in this digital diatribe.  With the on set of war America’s youth has come to the realization that the powers that be do not regard our civil liberties as free and given.  Now begins a separation of a generation,the duality of man.  This new “American Dream”, the dream of a nation of people, born to rock, born to beat drop.  A land of hip hop, house music, non-stop electro, bebop, dance till the floor drops, till the neighbors knock, till the panties sop, and skill decides who’s on top.  Where street corner poets scream they can’t take it, cause we’re mad as hell and we don’t give a fuck, because from this moment on no more wars, no more gas powered merchants of mayhem, just laptops & turntable architects of sex.

Here at White House Headquarters we have been scouring what’s left of this country to build a production team of skilled musicians to represent the new “American Dream”.  Covering every angle from party rocking to top notch club banging production,this group of undeniable American youths are hear to wave our great American flag with a fuck you lets dance mind set.  For the land of the free and the home of the brave this blinged out team is here to ignite the females and dance floors across this great nation.

The American Dream Team consist of 10 members in all.They are a collective of individuals who all bring things to the table.They were Founded by Code-d a dope guy with a vision.  He was influenced by people like hendrix, kill the noise, computer club, and craze.  His first popular track “Money Tune” came out and everyone liked it so he continued writing tracks from there.  Dan Savage is one of the Vj’s for TADT and make alot of the dope visuals for their show. They hold a monthly party in Brooklyn at Banbalotto called Smokin Beats.
